Hello. I am looking for some advice if you think i should ask the contractor to change this again. we were getting storage under the stairs.. i thought it would be like a little door way. first it was even smaller than this.. they made it a little bigger but then said there is a support beam and framed wall to the right and that any higher will interfere with stair stringers. I just dont get why it cant go further down to the bottom making it more like a door? i trust them, but just dont get it. When i look at pictures of under stairs storage all i see is little doors. To the right is sub pump and that will just be an access panel. Thanks!
