ionized water and instant hot from same faucet

Has anyone added an ionized water faucet to their sink? What about a small drinking water faucet that incorporates both ionized water AND instant hot water? Is that possible? I see drinking water faucets with both hot and cold and am wondering if a water ionizer could be hooked up to the cold side and use an instant hot tank on the hot side. Has anyone down this before?

No, it's not a joke. Ionized water is a thing - using an electric current to break apart some water molecules into positive and negative ions. Although it happens naturally at a very low rate, the process increases the amount of ions.

Now whether it results in health benefits by consuming ionized water - that's a different story. I personally don't believe in it, but that's me.

Nope. Not"break apart" water molecules. It is the ionization of mineral impurities in the water.

Lordy... the gimmicks never cease.

BTW: Using electricity to break water into molecules has a name, it's called electrolysis. The molecules are hydrogen and oxygen. Not something you want coming out of your faucet.
