Have you given any thought to putting a console table below the pictures? Can you paint the vent the same color as the wall?

I'm worried they're a lil too high (~65in from floor). We already have the brackets to hang pics in the wall (6 of them). I'm worried it will destroy the wall lowering it but do you think it's necessary? Any recommendations appreciated :)

They are small...so I think that's why it doesn't look right.

A floating shelf is a great idea. Hung a couple inches under the center piece. You could put a couple small objects on the shelf.

You could also turn it into a grouping.

There are plenty of very narrow console tables around. Can you do a 10" deep one? Would really help that wall and obscure the vent. Picture height is fine.

As a home stager, I get to hang lots of wall art pieces. In situations like yours, I like to make the center of the art piece to be about 56"-57" from the floor. This works well whether you are hanging one wall art or a group. If you are hanging a wall art above a sofa for example, then the art piece has to have a relationship with the sofa, so I would say about 7" inches above the sofa. Otherwise the wall art would be floating on the wall. I hope this helps.
