I discovered you and your wonderful posts last year - what a day brightener to find you here again and start my day with a laugh! And, yes, I am already looking forward to seeing the pips of spring in my garden while looking at the mush of my hosta leaves today.

Old Dirt I have been in Florida for 36.7 years. I feel I have been here long enough that I have naturalized to a Floridian. And thank you for the retirement congrats.

I will be able to participate at times…..didnt take that many photos. Last season was not the best garden weather. I had several hosta ”burn” early in the season from excessive heat. I am betting I’m not the only victim.

Minnesota suffered thru another drought this year.

although spring was cold and wet.

i managed to get a lot of spring pictures before that 100 degree temp hit.

the convention got lucky as well. the heat hit a week after it was over..

so most of my pics will be in that early stage when they still looked good.

That is OK everyone. Just show with what you have. I got my early spring order in the middle of July fully grown. They were not that happy and told me about it. Now they are outside basking in the glow of the cold loving it. See you in 2 mornings.

have you considered adding the perennial forum. to see if we can get some new peeps enabled.. oops.. i mean interested???...
