Its the front lawn off the driveway. I am thinking of adding pathway lights around borders so can pull from there. I dont want to mount on house but i kinda like that elongated version. am swithcing to darker brass or black fixures. thanks for the tip

Waht do you want from the lighting , mostly decor or motion light ? You have a flood light what else do you need. I think a pic from furthr back showing the situation might be helpful. I do not see a pathway so not sure where those lights will go.

goal is to have lighting at the entrypoint without it giving off security floodlight. (Ie prison spotlight vibes). something gentle that i could turn on with ground path lighting and landscape lights have not is installed yet but trying to plan to install at same time same switch

the fence horizonral bar is angled on the sides so ttached led lights would look askew and only work at the gate itself

I'm a big fan of solar options... no need to hardwire or disrupt the hardscape.

Footpath lights are a good idea. And you can add one on either side of the fence. Like this:

We are guessing only without seeing the whole space .I do agree solar is a good choice .
