Replacement Windows in Central Texas

So we are finishing up our kitchen remodel in the next month or so and have decided to just go ahead with replacing our windows that have desperately needed to be replaced for years. Researching windows is overwhelming with all the fly by night companies, sketchy sales tactics etc etc. We live in Central Texas and I was hoping my Houzzers could recommend a brand of window theyve been happy with or a company that was fair. We need about 18-20 windows. My husband likes casement windows so he would like at least half of them as casement so we can open them more easily to let in fresh air. Any suggestions or thought would be appreciated.

Our house has a tendency to be dark so we would like higher VT (visible transmittance) and due to the wind in our area we need to pay attention to the DP (design pressure). Since we are in TX the SHGC (solar heat gain coefficient) is important. we live in the country so sound transmission isnt that important. I feel like Ive read enough to be dangerous but not enough that I really know what Im talking about. :)
