BC, I meant the cabinet manufacturer of the bubbling cabinets did not stand behind their product. They said the issue was that we let water run down the face of the cabinetry so it bubbled on the bottom edge. We did NOT let water run down the front of the cabinets!! The design and build company eventually came out with someone who once worked in cabinet making and he said the bubbling was likely due to some foreign material on the roller edge during processing since the bubbles appear on about the same place on the affected doors. The design and build company now says that we can at our expense order new doors from Decor but I wonder if they will match. (how many laminate companies make Gregio Pine?) They will install no cost. Original doors from Landmark.

If Decor is the same company that made the original door, the new one with the same name will match, unless they changed the product but kept the name. Which would be weird. It's totally synthetic so they are all the same. No other company would create a custom match for you. It's a complex manuf process, involving layers of materials; it's not like matching stain. But that design build company gave you that vendor and is now telling you, too bad you have to pay? If so, I'd walk away from all of them and go to a new custom cab maker and TFL manufacturer and do what I say above with the complementary color....make all the uppers (or lowers) a different color and keep the remaining good panels on the other one. Yeah, I know, it's almost a kitchen redo. But you are getting forced to go with a maker that doesn't care about quality. I couldn't. I happen to know of about half a dozen TFL manufacturers now due to my research, and if I heard one of them made a flawed product I'd be gone. I am sure that, say, Wilsonart, would give you replacements. The best ones are major companies that make materials for furniture companies, wall paneling, etc. It's big business. The cheapo ones are probably cheap for a reason.

Because I am crazy i went and looked up gregio pine, and the TFL I think is a manufacturer called Stevenswood in Canada. They have a website. They have only been making TFL since 2011, so maybe that is a factor. Decor looks like a big company as well. I would not give up on Decor yet. I would get pictures of all the bubbles on all items, ideally with some that have never been exposed to water. Find out who denied your claim, and try to go above him or her. If you are out of warranty, that's one thing. But they still might try to make good if you get the right person. If that fails, you could try going to Stevenswood. Might be a longshot, but Stevenswood might get you a deal of some kind through either Decor or another maker. But since it is widely availabe you definitely could find a local custom maker If you are in a large metro area. ABC above is right, seems like he/she is a pro - sometimes the entire door is made by a third party. I think sometimes cabinet makers just buy the material and cut and apply edgebanding...not sure.

Is TFL better than high pressure laminate?

Also I guess my original question should have been “is Gregio Pine a style and color made by a specific brand of laminate” since I would like to match the rest of the cabinetry.

I think that all of these cabinet manufacturers order the same material from a laminate company. TFL is a textured laminate (Thermally Fused Laminate). It is very durable, but HPL (High pressure laminate) is slightly more durable than TFL...from what I've been told by reps.

I would think that all gregio pine is the same....but ask for a sample chip to compare to your kitchen.

If you google TFL vs HPL laminate, you'll find the answer. I forgot., if I recall correctly...TFL is better for vertical applications and HPL is better for horizontal. One is harder than the other. HPL is a nicer choice for a gloss solid color for doors typically. I just went to a dentist this AM and there must be 200k worth of new TFL cabinets in that office. Once you start looking you will see commercial cabinets everywhere.
