What is that blue flower in the background behind the white daisies?

    Hello Dennidinmb,
    The spiky blue flowers belong to a Butterflybush (Buddleia davidii 'Lochinch'). It is a very vigourous plant which is cut back pretty hard every year to keep the size appropriate for this garden and to incourage a heavy flower set. The flowers have a nice scent and as the name implies it is an absolute butterfly magnet!
    There are many butterflybush with different flower colours and size potential available in commerce.
