Hello, we bought this little old 1920's house because it is on Lake Superior, and has a lot of rustic character on the inside. The outside however is another story with this dated brick that covers most of the house. The top siding has been removed in this photo as it was espestos. We're planning on painting the brick and putting up wood siding, problem is we can't figure out colors....I tend to lean in the direction of painted white brick, and white vertical siding, but is that boring? What colors would work? I like steel blue a lot too, but if I went with steel blue vertical siding, what color to paint the brick? I also like dark greys and yellows. Since its on the water, I would like to stay away from modern colors. Thoughts or suggestions??
