I like the idea of black, straight board and baton.
The angles don’t do it for me 🫣

(A deep deep green black is also a cool idea)

You can also do something like this with black paint and wood slats on top on part of the wall.

I keep looking at these pictures and loving it but I feel like would it get dated in a year or so?

Do you love the art on that wall ? If so you choose the darkest color in the art for the accent wall. BTW IMO accent walls are the last choice you make after all the other walls are painted and the elelents in the sapce are all there. Please unset the table it is never good to see the table set unless you plan to eat very soon.I think the art could be a much alrger piece too.Take that little table in the left corner away and if you want the yellow freahters then they need to be in a bigger taller vase . I think a nice real plant could be agreat addition and if you want the yellow as an accent (I like it BTW) them do fresh yellow flowers on the table with a simple table runner . I buy fresh flowers every week at the grocery store , very afforadble and so much nicer that fake anything.

Be sure you want the effect of a dark wall in this small space. I’d also suggest a molding design that will accommodate large art (or even not add molding).

Am not sure an accent wall is desirable in this situation. Larger and more dramatic wall art might provide you with the punch you are lookinf for instead.

I think your table and chairs are fabulous and would love the look of a plain black wall with larger scale art.

I would for sure start with just paint I really don't like the busy wood type wall there so as I said larger art and paint.
