I've used the Original and Oxi versions recently. I can't say that I love either of them, but if I had to choose, I like the Oxi scent better.

I love all persil scents except the purple odor control one. It just smells off to me.

I cycle through the original, intense fresh and oxi. I also get the stain fighter one. Never had the vomit smell even when they first came out, but i have never washed laundry in cold or cool.

If i remember right it was the pearls that caused the vomit smell

I threw my last bottle of Persil original down the drain due to the offensive scent. It's not what I remember it to be and now use Miele liquid.

I also use Persil ProClean 2in1 liquid, also a stash bought at the same time as the Pearls. No vomit odor from it. Cheer powder is the other on-hand occasional choice.

I looked thru past threads about this and most were complaints about the pearls. The vomit smell was not immediate but a few days later it would appear. There were a few complaints about liquids also. I do use liquid Persil and have never had that happen. If our dear mamap were still here she’d know the scoop.

I had the smell using liquid persil but that was when I used too much detergent and not rinsing well. When I changed my habits the smell was gone. I read somewhere that the smell was due to enzymes not rinsing well but not sure if that is correct.

I tried Persil a while back and wasn't a fan. I use Original Tide powder, Tide with Oxi powder and Cheer.

I just checked: the scent of Persil Proclean Free and Sensitive is negligible. You have to almost stick your nose into the bottle to smell it.

Persil Oxi is by far my favorite. Actually just purchased a bottle this morning!

My vote goes to Persil Advanced Clean oxi+odor. It has a very pleasant smell to it.

I use Persil Advanced Clean pods which have a citrus scent which I like.
