A local custom guy will always be your best option.

i see nothing worth changing as far as the doors. perhaps new hardware to give a bit of style.... wall cabinets are usually off to the side / not above sink. Medicine cabinets that can be recessed go above the sink usually....and that might be an improvement over your small round mirror. If you look at bath rooms on KOHLER or BERTCH cabinet websites you might get ideas that fit into your situation. Scherr's cabinetry sells doors...cant tell if you have thermofoil or MDF painted . Here's a tall cabinet..nice storage...what sort of spot do you have besides the area above sink? price out the cabinet that you would put somewhere ...or new medicine cabinet /mirror with installation and see how the price comes in.....nice bath upgrades are not the cheapest thing as you need good materials/ specific sizes/functions etc [do you need some lighting in there?] .....then see if the optional shaker door idea would still be in the budget....just my general thought about what you show.

We did something similar in our guest bathroom. We removed an old wall cabinet and built a new one. We bought doors for it and replaced the doors on the vanity and painted both vanity & cabinet. The cabinet is only 4" deep which is plenty for our purposes and houses a mirror in the center. A good handyman or carpenter could build something for you and do the painting. The cost would be fairly low and could have a big impact.
