Make a padded fabric topper for the window seat and then you can use any paint you like. Very easy to do......like recovering dining room chair cushions. Just get a piece of plywood cut to size, some foam padding and fabric to match your décor. Simple and easy to redo when it becomes soiled or damaged from wear.

The topper will protect the seat and its paint and provide a comfortable perch for the pups, whether watching the world or napping.

You don’t need a sprayed industrial coating. A good floor or porch paint will work fine. We used BM floor paint on some stairs and our three dogs go up and down constantly and it hasn’t scratched significantly.

We painted them a nice shiny black and without getting on hands and knees you will not see any scratches.

Advance is a good product but takes too long to cure.
