I would do a cream color and switch out your cabinet knobs for a stainless/ pewter to match your refrigerator. Get rid of the light fixture and replace with pendent lights for about $38. They come in a 3 drop count with very cool variety of shades. Brighten that kitchen up, it's a bit crowded for all that darkness...
