What help do you want? you don't really need a runner on these stairs...

Are you asking for a runner or a rug!? And what size?

The runner needs to be custom cut and installed, You have a turn /angle at the landing

Personally? I'd do a nice tight pattern sisal.......for both. Have them make/ bind both. Go to a broad loom store.

A texture like this..... tight.

Depending on the style of the room, I’d consider these stair tread mats for the three steps. We have them on the steps going down to our basement and they look and function great. DH secured them to the treads with carpet tape so they stay in place.

I’d want to select the area rug in the downstairs room first and then look for tread mats to coordinate. These come in several patterns and colors.

I need a runner for I keep falling down the stairs with socks on and I want more of a patterned rug look but can’t decide on colors and patterns

I'm a glutton for a good, subtle striped stair runner. A lot of work to get the stripes to align around the pie shaped stairs, but when it works, it is beautiful. I'd get neurtal tones because you have a lot going on there already with the railings, stair shape, and wall color. Notice how the last pic here has a matching rug on the floor at the bottom of the stairs. I think that looks nice too.
