My projected bed for carrots this spring is low on soil. hypothetically if i already have carrots growing in there, would filling the beds with soil above them cause issues? local companies deliver our soil based of when their giants piles thaw. my raised beds are usually workable a month + before that. id hate to leave the bed unused when it could be growing. we have a short season here (4b) and all days are crucial hahaha.
