You should coordinate the pulls with the style of the house.

For aging in place, get all pulls. No knobs. Pulls are much more ergonomic, much easier for aging fingers to grab…and, they do a better job of keeping fingers off the drawer and door fronts.

I like knobs on doors and pulls on drawers. Pull length will differ depending on drawer width.

The house is a single floor. I guess our style is farmhouse transitional…grays,white and sage colors.
Should we go with chrome or brushed nickel for cabinets. We have a chrome sink faucet, but brushed nickel on inside doors.

I like pulls better than knobs for all the reasons darbuka states. Just be sure not to get pulls with bits sticking off to one side that will snag on your clothing.
