The houseplan is not as useful as one drawing of the bedroom, with dimensions, doors and where they lead, etc. It will be helpful to see all four walls, in sequence around the room. And especially where you have the bed now.

What other furniture do you think you will have in there: dresser(s), night table, TV, chair, etc.

The two pictures should show all 4 walls. Ideally two night side tables, a tv, a dresser but with the dormer and the vaulted ceiling it feels cramped towards the front of the house.

Get Two area rugs... on for under the bed the other for the TV seating area.

I'd put the Bed in the corner between the two windows, get a small chest of drawers for a night stand... Lamp in front of window.

I'd put the TV on the slope side wall... eye level (centered 41-48 inches off the floor)

a couple of low back swivel chairs for tv viewing opposite.

We think your current layout will probably work best, however if you want to decorate the area with the vaulted ceilings, you could easily place a chair on either side with lamps for reading or place a chair on one side and a small dresser on the other. Please see the images we added below:
