Yes. We got rid of the dresser because it was empty and only holder the TV. Walk in closet is big enough.

a low bench across the foot of the bed?

two low back swivel chairs and a table?

Artwork and then call it good. Seems too narrow to introduce more furniture without cluttering things up.

Or, Lyn's suggestion for a low bench at the foot of the bed is good. Something that hides the bed foundation pieces and is out of the way--i.e., not a dark of the night toe stubber. And a low bench wouldn't be competing with the feature wall.

Consider putting a loveseat or slim-arm sofa at the foot of the bed, facing the TV. The wall opposite the headboard is empty…it is also long enough for a dresser and a console for the
TV to sit upon.

agreed. Definitely a bench at the foot of the bed.
And then I’d have either a loveseat where the dresser was. Or a big chair with side table in the corner of the room.

Consider comfortable chairs/small table, which will be a practical and attractive way to fill the space, which I believe you were wanting to do.

Like the idea of large art on the long wall and think big picture so as to have an overall coordinated look.

Ikea Besta hack. (and yes, mount the tv on the wall. (not too high)

warmer wood dressers or console that are vintage are also nice

they have it off to the side wall, but something like this w/your tv above would work. I like this black stained, DIY bench too! super easy to make

for the other wall, get some nice artwork, or a slim bench, or a large size leaning mirror.

maybe a tall potted plant , or even something that hangs, for a bit of greenery

a bench at the foot of the bed would also work. if you do this, just do art off to the right. or that shelving and small mirror in that one pic above is cute

black nightstand disappear. if you do a wood console under the tv, think about doing some walnut floating nightstands. love the sconces too. or some pendants over the nightstands

another type of wood dresser w/woven wood blinds and wood bench. looks so good w/the black. also, maybe some diff type of bedding that better suits the style of the room and the rug?

they have sconces that don't need to be hardwired. I just like the idea of mounting them above the nightstands.

I like this one too. the bed make-up, the throw , and the rug.

Here's another idea to add to all the many others:

I like Beth’s suggestions, esp. all the pics with plants and warm wood….they add softness to the dark wall. Also yes to mounting the telly, plug-in sconces (Rejuvenation has quite a few options….we used them in all of our bedrooms to keep nightstands free for books, glasses etc) and the floating nightstands! I found floating nightstands on Etsy for our smaller guest room…..they are brilliant! You can choose size, wood species, with or w/o drawer etc. Another thing we did (great for wall-mounted sconces!): I found inexpensive remote-control outlets on Amazon….you simply plug them into your outlets behind the bed, then plug the sconces into them. They come with small on/off remotes that sit on your nightstand and make turning off your sconces so much easier…no having to stretch over or up to reach a lamp’s switch. Good luck!

Agree these are fantastic! We had the sconce discussion as well and if we do the remote control I can hold off the electrician for now.
