Marble effect on curved surface

3 years ago

Hi,
I have a wall with curved corners and a round column, I am would like to cover the wall (at least) with marble effect, however having the rounded corners I am unable to find a good solution, th options I found:
1- real marble only from factory with exact specifications and very high costs
2- ceramic covering for the wall but this can't cover the rounded corners so for the corners I should cover with a different material and a difference could be seen!
3- Mdf covering
4- pvc
5- marble painting

I need pics in a comment here but IMO someone really good at faux painting . I have no idea how real marble can be bent to fit a curved wall or wrap around column .

Where is the surface you are trying to marble? Is this in a bathroom? Kitchen? Dining room? Do you have any photos?

@ilikefriday @ci_lantro @pat pat

it's a TV wall in the living, I can change the left part to be a straight wall with rounded corners to decrease the needed bending as in the following photo

@Marinello Designs I would go with any better suggestion than marble paint, and that is why I am posting the question here for getting help. I am not aware of 1985, but at least I am not planning to cover everything with marble it's just the TV wall :)
Thank you!
