I love the dog drawing, I did have to look twice.

The worst for me are two hostas which have dwindled each year. I am not sure if either one will be back this year.

Beth at least PB is known to be difficult for some, I hope it & HC return. It looks like they are in good spots.

I have the same problem with Little Starlet. It actually started out okay then dwindled. If it returns I will move it.

I'm thinking Empress Wu was my worst, most disappointing hosta. I started it in 2016 and did very well by 2019. Since then it has dwindled a little every year and last year it all but disappeared. It was in mostly shade but all the others around it seem to prosper. I did get another last year and it is in a large pot, wanting to put it in the same spot as the old one but am very hesitant.

It looked so bad last year I never took a picture.

2 losers for me..Praying Hands and Little Treasure..I think they were in too much shade..it‘s easy to do that at my house..

Praying Hands was nearly gone but I planted what was left in the best spot I could find..here’s hoping 🤞..

I moved Empress Wu last summer after reading here that some were declining in shade..I love Empress Wu..hope this helps..

Debra you are funny! I am sure you will be rewarded with lovely unburnt leaves. Your Fire and Ice is a great size and will need some sun.

Okay Debra fair is fair. I deleted the worst pics so you may say that is not so bad but trust me it gets much worse.

Lakeside Cupcake. This is an old pic and one of the few I kept. It is wonderful early season and then gets the uglies by late July/early August. Added insult from deer damage.

p.s. It would help if I watered.

poor Fire and Ice!..but hosta are resilient..yours will be beautiful next year in less sun..👍

This Pandora's Box dropped all of its leaves but then came back. It needs to live in a pot.

I had mine in a pot all last summer because it was new. But I planted it in early September. I hope it comes back ok!
