Metal roof color

I am building a raised house at the beach. I am painting the bottom level black with brick columns and the top level
white. I personally would prefer a matte black metal roof as I love the contrast but the warranty is not as good as it tends to fade more than the other colors. So I am going back and forth between a white roof or charcoal gray. I was wanting opinions if the charcoal gray will look okay with the black paint (and the windows and shutters are also black).

You are looking for opinions. Mine is I don't know if any black is a good selection for anything on the beach, except for the car and bicycle tires parked under the house. Just guessing, but the current trend of white/black for "modern farmhouse" may not be a good fit for the location nor house style either.

We are doing a charcoal roof for the reasons you've mentioned. When I finally got a sample of the metal color, it became clear that a darker black (versus some of the more off-blacks I was considering) was necessary for the roof not to look "weird" against the black trim.

@amytate1 Yeah, i think it's fine. I'd have preferred the appearance of a black roof, but black isn't a reasonable solution for us. It's actually going on today, you can see it against the black trim.
