I would put the framed cross-stitched The Last Supper my sister made for me there.

Agree a nice large piece of art that will bring in another color to compliment you brown/gold palette.

Ohh personally i would love a wall of vintage platters there - this photo is too vertical but gives the idea

You need a creamier wall color - the one you have is a bit too green.

Love your kitchen! It is very pretty! I, too, suggest using vintage platters, plates, etc. Visit your local Habitat for Humanity for unusual ones that might work. Or look at Replacements.com for some interesting ones, too. I have found a number of silver trays for sale at Habitat for Humanity; many people don’t understand the power of silver polish! Art, too, would work, but plates…fun!

I would paint the walls above the chair trim a nice rich white....kitchen area too. I would pick a shade for below the trim as an accent......whatever you like. I would probably get at least the bottom half of windows w sheers and an angled rod ......a lot of glass in your area and a little softer touch there would be nice. the wall space in question ?? I think a pretty mirror and if positioned correctly [so no bumping].....place two stylish sconces. No room for a hutch. thats the issue...its a bit tight. [case for lighter paint in most areas] . I dont think I'd load any wall surface w groupings of small items....it's really tight....Just one thing : mirror// painting/ etc. You have room for table decor yet. Here is two paint finishes above and below the molding.

Here are some mirrors and sconces.....a little dressier effect but w your traditional space ..why not play it up a bit more....do you have a rug under the table?

a nice added touch for the windows: not expensive and still allows your light to come into space.

also keep in mind a smart looking bench against the wall .....slide in from each side instead of skooching chairs in and out w spot being tight.

Something to work with table top and floor, bring the brown up onto the wall. Add in a bit of wall color.

I think your kitchen would suit botanical prints and Etsy is a great source and the concept would work well with your paint color.

    Coordination ideas
