I took out my towel bars years ago and added hooks. So much easier. Is there a place to put hooks? Hold your towels like they'd be on a hook and you can see that they don't have to be very far apart at the top to not touch at the widest part when hanging.

Should be able to put one under the window.

Ask your shower glass sub to install a towel bar on the glass.

On the glass door or side panel? How wide does a towel bar need to be to hold two towels?

Where should I put the shower head in this shower? Perhaps I should not do the Pony-wall next to the toilet but do a full wall? Concerned about water leakage if I have the water head opposite the door.

I do not think privacy on the toilet is a real thing. No one should be on the toilet when someone is in the shower. I need pics of the space . I dislike towel bars no one ever really folds and hangs towels neatly enough . I have had towel hooks for the last 30 yrs no problem I do agree no towels next to the toilet.Post pics here in a comment do not start another post.

How many people will use this bath? How many sets of towels will you need to have out at any time? The size of your bathroom is small. My thought is that a wall, especially a full sized one, between your toilet and your shower will really make that space feel smaller. You can purchase a shower head that is adjustable to more of a down position so the water doesn’t spray directly on the door. I like the idea of a towel stand for your space, in the area in front of the windows, but not if the door swing will hit it. Bath towels can be hung from hooks on the back of the door. Wash cloths and hand towels from counter stands near your sinks.

Bathroom is part of master suite. It is built but nothing is in it yet. Vanity on order. In the stage of finalizing details.Two people will use it.

Which is preferable? Putting a towel rack on the glass wall or glass door? The north side of the shower with the door will be is a total of 50 inches wide. It is curbless. Any recommendations concerning size of stationary wall versus size of hinged door on that side of the shower in order to accommodate a towel rack for two towels?

You want to cover up your glass door with towels?? Just shorten the window and put towels underneath. Change the pocket door to a hinged door and hang towels on the door.

Window has already been installed as well as the pocket door. Wish I worked with a designer after the architect. I have just become aware of the issues. Now trying to problem solve while being one step ahead of contractor.

Is your vanity going to be custom made? If so, you can have one designed with a shelf on the bottom to store towels that can easily be grabbed when you get out of the shower. Then put a couple of hooks on either side of the window so they can dry out.

I like a shower with at least a corner “seat” or platform to put a foot on for leg-shaving or
foot-cleaning. My minimum measurement for shower size allows the tallest member of the household to stand with hands-on-head and elbows out to mimic shampooing hair…plus maybe ten inches. No shower head shooting water toward the shower door! You test the temperature with your hand before stepping into the shower…place shower control where you can reach it without actually getting into the shower. I like a one-knob control for the shower water and temperature.

I found this picture on Houzz that looks similar to what our bathroom will look like. Just not sure of the following: location of shower head, size of door vs adjacent glass panel, position of valve, how the door should open (left or right) and whether it should swing in or out. It looks like I can put a towel bar on the glass door so towel issue is solved.
