I would choose no mirror.

I lke the bigger size because it fills up the space a bit more. Although others are going to suggest art.

You have beautiful wallpaper, a lovely overhead light, and interesting carpet. I think your landing would look more sophisticated and pretty with no plant or mirror there. I think both the lamp and the mirror are things you use when you have a boring space with nothing going on. Yours is anything but. Don't distract from the simple beauty.

Nothing preferably, or soothing art with simple art light above it in gold finish. Very pretty spot!

I would select something more creative than a small framed mirror

I would get rid of the wallpaper and replace it with paint

The staircase could use a bit of drama. The rug selection was in the right direction but everything else has been 'safe'.

If you want one of the mirrors, the bigger one seems to work better. However considering you have wallpaper and carpet that have a lot going on in them, you might consider just not hanging anything there.
