Advice on pruning a camphor tree

I have a low branch on a camphor tree that I'm thinking of removing, but I'm not sure how far back I should remove it. There's a decent sized water sprout growing from the branch into the middle of the tree. Should I remove the whole thing, or just cut it back to where the sprout it? Here are some pictures, but also a video, since it shows things much better. Advice appreciated!
