Wall tile looks fine to me and I see nothing wrong with the floor tile as well.

Squares are back but especially flooring will have a big influence and I think penny rounds would be fun and complementary.

What’s your vanity like? Can it be painted? I don’t hate your floor, though the sample you have is beautiful. Just painting walls and vanity could be all the refresh it needs.

Vanity is a warm wood tone but it’s not in great shape. Considering replacing the vanity with either blue and go with that hexagon tile

Or got for a white vanity and go for something bolder

I think the wall tile is fine. Classic white square is, well, classic. Color versions can get dated, but white is good. I like the bolder tiles that are out now, but I think you will get more mileage out of the tile in the original post.

I would kill for tile on the bathroom wall!

Your wall tile is absolutely fine. It will withstand the test of time over the long haul.

It’s a very “in” tile but I do not like squares. I would replace it.

I think the penny tile will be gorgeous and a little classier imho. The square tile is certainly okay but I think as long as you’re re-doing everything, I’d do a sub/rectangle tile, maybe even in a with a clear but slightly frosty sheen to them.

I was trying to find the correct word and it’s like an opaque tile. Instead of a clear one, you could also pick a color that’s in your penny tile. I’ve even it before in sellers homes and it’s really beautiful.
