Room addition under sun room

Hello,

We would like to add a bedroom under our sunroom. The exterior of the house is stucco. We have had a really hard time getting contractors to come look at other projects. Before getting too deep into it, I would like to know what we may be looking at in cost. Obviously I don’t expect anyone on here to give me an exact amount, just if we should be expecting 40k-50k or 100k+. We are located in the midwest if that matters. All we want is a simple room 13x13 with 2 sets of window. If someone has had something similar done or has done this type of work, please share. Thank you!

That is subjective. Simple is 13x14? 20x15? 10x11? etc..

The issue is that the patio floor is not going to stay when you add an indoor living space , It will need to be done just like an addition. New footings poured just like a house , Where is the bathroom inside that will serve this new bedroom . You need to talk to an architect or a really good honest contractor to get some idea of the work involved . Is this bedroom a must have for your family ? In the midwest the footings will need to be done below th frost line and that could have some effect on the whole space above this . .
