So unique!

Really unique and quite a cozy house. I've just never seen beams on such low ceilings before.

Oh yes, I have toured a few cottages in England, especially in the Cotswolds. Low ceilings and beams. Working beams that actually hold up something.

That was a different and quirky way to show a fun a quirky house! I am quite certain her timing was intentional when she sang ”there’s so much space” while squeezing past the dining room table.

How’d you like the tv zip-tied to the two-by-fours at the foot of the bed? and I’d love to explore the house, and all the little steps around the upstairs.

I like the home and think that it has plenty of room. Too much furniture, however. And that T.V. footboard is hilarious, but clever! As for the steps, they were not built to accommodate a large/tall person. We toured a private cottage in the Cotswolds' where we were invited to use the restroom on the 2nd floor. We were told to take off our shoes (as the steps were really narrow) and to duck our heads at the turn (so as not to bump our heads.) 😁

The owner is spot on about the traffic noise not being an issue. I am always amazed at how soundproof the windows are when staying in overseas accommodations. Having a home near a busy street is quite typical. Those streets/lanes weren't so busy back when those cottages were built.

I hope she sells it fast with a good price. :-) I am wondering if it’s common to have low ceilings in UK, or it’s only existing in older homes.
