I suggest you do the same thing as Jilly suggested Also, if you go to Ebay, and look at Asian art, they often have great descriptions

Thanks all! I found out a little more, my father in law's family purchased them in China in the very early 1900s (the two women with hats on) along with 3 other B&W portraits and the one (I assume a male) sitting without a hat on was purchased by my in laws at an auction. I wonder who they are... the pictures I took really do not do them justice - they are incredibly intricate. I appreciate the advice!
