yes there are, two ways by using a very narrow beam spread in the light bulb itself or getting a track head with barn doors or shields. Personally I would have went with low voltage track heads that you could use LED MR 16 in for more options as far as color and beam spread. YOu would want a narrow spot as the angle will open as it falls away from the source. Also I would not go black id probably go bronze or brass unless you want to highlight that look of track.

Thanks to everyone for advice, went with the WAC track lighting in brushed brushed looks great knotty pine, and installed enough track that I can add, remove or re-aim heads.
