Lower the art over the tub

Get a tree that looks like it might be real.

mercy me. why doesn't anyone utilize color??

It's very 'cold' in that room.

Bring in some wood, somewhere.

a teak bathmat, some wood shelving, maybe a few more hanging plants in a colorful pot?

now add the rug, some wood, a colorful garden stool, art, patterned towels w/some color

that tree is too bulky where you have it. look at "plant accents in bathrooms" to get some better ideas.

color towels, garden stool, vanity accessories

I like the art ideas.

(your pink pictures are too small and hung way too high)

the wood, the rug and the textured light, along w/the greenery, make the space

think about doing a larger rug

If you took away the warm baskets and the rug, you'd have a cold, gray space

Beth, while I appreciate the feedback I could have done without the ”mercy me”. haha! Ive come to expect those reactions from this site though… last time I posted my kitchen I got told it was too cluttered. It gives off the same vibe as the bathroom. It’s not cluttered. ;) Our style is not aligned at all, but again, thanks for taking the time!

Beverly, love love love your suggestions. thank you!!

Christopher, thank you!! I’m short and I move the mirror up close to me when I put my makeup on. I have NO interest in a busy bathroom. I agree with KISS. I’m a busy mom and this is my place to relax.

Mandy, glad your lovely mirror works for you.! I happen to like your floor mats...nice calm practical pieces. if you keep art please don't lower it as much as Bev shows. just.too close to the bathtub wand. Sometimes it is nice to have calm spaces, we don't always need color; many designers live in calm spaces as they work with sooo much color in client homes...your preference is your preference. enjoy it!!
