advantium touch screen - microwave controls?

We went to the showroom today, but they were in the process of switching out areas, so the monogram advantium was not hooked up yet. For those that currently have it (or cafe with touchscreen), what is the fastest way (least clicks) to start using the microwave? Is there a single button to start cooking for 1 minute from the Home Screen, or does it take several clicks to get there (select microwave, then punch in the time, then push start)? I tried looking on YouTube for demos and couldn’t find an answer. We use our add 30 or 60 second buttons a lot right now. Thanks!

"what is the fastest way (least clicks) to start using the microwave?"

One button: Press 'Express' on the main menu. Default time is adjustable in settings.

Note that there are at least 14 Advantium wall ovens among the Profile, Cafe, and Monogram brands ranging from $2100 to $4100 plus at least six Advantium Over-the-Range ovens between the Profile and Monogram brands ranging from $990 to $2000. Shop carefully and check specs and instruction manuals.

Thanks. We plan on the 240v, I think the statement monogram, but I the interface seemed the same from at least the cafe and monogram, which are the the two we were looking at.

Also, that was exactly the info we needed - great news!

    I have the 240 V Cafe

The touch screen shows the TIME 8:00 a.m.

you touch that and it brings up the entire menu

    Microwave, Oven, Speedcook, crisp reheat

    Below that

Beverage, Cook by Food Type, Cook by Time. Defrost

    Below that

    Popcorn, Reheat, Soften/Melt, Steam cook

    Below

    Microwave Express 30s

@ifoco: These ovens appear to have been updated. Your menu list doesn't include 'Precision Cooking' but all the 240 volt Cafe Advantium ovens include that as well as 'Express 30s' on the menu below (page 10).

You mean my oven is already outdated? Or am I in need of a software update?

The current models shown on the Cafe website are all CSB923*. Is yours one of those? Page 20 of the instruction manual for those models shows how they may be connected to wi-fi but I don't know whether that enables the oven's firmware to be updated. It may just allow remote operation from a phone.

I'll presume that a firmware update would not add Precision Cooking to older ovens so even a firmware update wouldn't change your oven's menu to appear like those of the CSB923. No harm in trying, though.

My model is CSB923 I have been connected to WI fI. I don't need to talk to it from my phone as I am right in the kitchen when I am cooking. :)) Will have to look into it further. Many of the functions are not that relevant to my life. However, if its' available why not add it to the menu. if I can just, in case!.

    Thanks

I believe they just did an over the air update to their standard oven that added a no preheat airfry option, so they may still add completely new cooking options via software updates!

According to page 20 of the instruction manual the oven's Settings > System shows the current software version. It would be interesting to know of @ifoco and @S H are running different versions and whether that of @S H is more recent.
