If you are going to go to the trouble to hire an electrician to hardwire a couple wall sconces, at the same time it may be good to move the locations of the recessed lights (the one lights up your belly button when laying down), maybe add/convert some switched receptacles (like for a floor lamp near the chaise), and adding a couple accent lights on the fireplace.

Sliding doors are and interesting idea, though I've never had a sliding door I liked. This still doesn't solve the space issue between the bed and dresser. I would need a narrow dresser or to get rid of the chair. I'm quite happy with the current arrangement, just looking for ideas of house to deal with lighting and other decor for the off center bed.

1) Change doors to sliding door.

2) Move dresser down to where chair is. Needs a mirror and lamps.

3) Move chair to by fireplace. Needs a table. Does that chair work with your future color scheme?

4) Bed centered on window

Best solution, although I'd like to see rest of room. What else is in the room? Need to see all walls.

Get the furniture set and then you can come up with a color scheme.

Just put lamps on the night stands and move on!!!

Can the bed be moved to another wall? I dislike having a bed right beneath a window especially if the bed obscures the window.

If you don’t like sliding doors on the closet, bifold doors will save space when opened, I agree to try moving furniture around, though I like having my bed under the window when there is room.

I like my bed under the window in my room . I think unless you want to listen to the ideas put a lamp on each night table and be done. You do not explain why no lamps but IMO you have had the help or put the dresser where the chaise is and the sliding doors .

We think adding a sliding door for the closet would be the best solution so that you could center the bed. Perhaps you could look at doing some lights like you see in our designs here:
