Lighting suggestions for off center bed

I'd like to install wall sconces, because I dislike having a lamp on my nightstand, but am a bit perplexed on style and location due to the bed being off center the window. I could technically center it, but it makes the path between the bed and dresser a bit narrow and prevents one closet door from opening. My thought was to install two mismatched walk sconces equidistance from the window - A swing arm to the right that when angled in is centered above the night stand and then maybe a globe or other small fixture to the left, perhaps with a float shelf over it to help balance the assymetry of the window. I was thinking black metal to tie in the fireplace, but not wanting it to look too harsh. Will this work? Any alternative ideas? I'm open to a lamp in the window sill, just not on the night stand. Will be used mostly for mood lighting rather than reading. Still finalizing other decor, but leaning towards black and white photography for art and sticking with the mauve, great, white, black color scheme.
