The shower is too small for double showers in my opinion. The 3rd render is the setup I'd pick... you can double shower if you must otherwise it just looks like well equipped single shower.

How often do 2 people shower together to necessitate a 2 person shower?

I agree with Paul and Juliet. 2 is unnecessary. I like the second pic-with changes-put the 3 shower boxes on the left wall-will look less cluttered once they are filled. And do just one shower head-up high.

@The Design Doula - I think the second render has the niches on the left wall. Did you mean something like the third image but moving the niches to the left wall like attached?

@Juliet unfortunately more frequently as we both procrastinate getting ready to head out to things... We have another nice shower down the hall, but was hoping to get two showers in the new master.

That is not big enough for 2 people. You need a minimum of 2 side by side 30" circles for that to happen. With the water restrictions in place, you may not even be able to add a second simultaneous usage outlet. You can use A or B, but not A+B. You would also need 2 drains, or to oversize the single drain, if that were to have so many outlets.

Not big enough so either squeeze in there together or honestly use the other shower . Make this one nice and how many shampoo and body wash bottles do you really need in that shower . I dislike niches but if you must one .

1 shower head, 3 niches but make sure niches are tall enough fot product bottles

@User yeah agreed. We stood in the framed in area yesterday and just felt tight. Was hoping it wouldn't be as frequently together so it wouldn't be as big a deal but I didn't think the designs worked well. I don't live in a state with simultaneous usage restrictions. They installed the drain roughin assuming all jets and heads were on.

@Patricia Colwell Consulting Ha you'd be surprised. None of our products are shared (very different hair and skin types etc..) so takes up a lot. I'd prefer one long horizontal one, but there is plumbing and venting in that back wall already.

@Valinta - They are 8x12's.
