Need design help with odd bathroom floorplan

We're in the early stages of planning our bathroom remodel and would love any advice or suggestions on the layout. We're hoping not to make any major changes like moving plumbing.

I made this layout online so it is NOT to scale but gives you an idea of the layout. When you walk in, to the left is double vanity that goes wall to wall. then turning around the corner is a long walk way with windows to the left, and bath tub to the right. And finally after the bath tub is the toilet which was previously enclosed in a separate room. Previous owner removed the door so it still has walls around the toilet but open entry.

We want to turn the tub into a standing shower, and the pluming for the shower is on the wall it shares with the toilet, so that wall has to stay. But we're thinking about removing the walls between the toilet and the walkway. Will that look awkward to just have a toilet at the very end by itself?

Should we add maybe a half wall for privacy? or any other suggestions or recommendations?

Draw it on graph paper by need if you need, but to scale is kind of critical.

I think leaving the layout as is: fine. (can't say 100 percent without correct dimensions.

Removing doorway wall to toilet area: I don't recommend unless there is a specific reason. Why would you want to do this?

Odd thing I am seeing. The toilet area is only 26" by 26" ? This isn't to code. Where is the toilet plumbing?

If trully only 26 x 26, toilet needs to be changed to facing window and the space needs to be widened (taking up shower space.

Finally, if toilet is okay and your measurements wrong, I would really highlight the wall between toilet room and windows. Large, stunning piece of art or unique tile.

You don't want to walk down that long walkway with nothing for your eye to land on.

Would suggest at least a half height wall between the toilet and the shower. Make sure you have enough clearance around your toilet. You will need a minimum of 15" from the centerline of the toilet to adjacent walls. If you do remove the walls indicated you shouldn't have any problem with front clearance.

Thank you CDR and Norwood for your suggestions and feedback!

The toilet room is bigger, I used Ikea's design template and for some reason their sizing is off. The way it is now, with it being a room with the door removed, it just looks awkward, like very clearly there should be a door there and isn't. So we're just exploring some options on what to do with the walls to make it less awkward. It's also a 70's house where there are just too many walls in general, so we're trying to find a way to make it more open.

The wall to the right of the entrance will become a half wall or even just glass around the shower, currently it's really closing the bathroom upon entrance.

However the wall between shower and toilet cannot be shortened since that's where plumbing for shower is (ie showerhead) so keeping that wall means the toilet is behind a wall. So our option is to either open the side somewhat, or remove the side walls completely, or keep as is.

I'll try to find a way to do draw it out more to scale, it's much longer in reality than my mock up suggests.

I was able to do a slightly better floorplan that is more to scale!

Thanks. It might be to scale, but there are no measurements on it. Can you add measurements?
