Your best bet is to work it out with them.

Address this right away. The longer you wait, the easier it is for them to say you’ll accept this. You seem to have proof that they’re wrong- stand by that and get what you paid for. Be firm, be polite and provide your proof.

Wow, thank you so much. ive been putting off contacting them because i thought i could get used to them but im just not. they are also a very good company with good reviews. i also waited 10 1/2 months for them to get here. i am ok with the bedroom windows. they would not have to replace them. they have admitted they ordered the wrong ones but im sure they are hoping i got used to them. its been 3 weeks.

They can get the factory to ship them just the insulated glass units or sash. No need to buy a complete new window.

Hindsight is always clearer. When I had the inside of my home renovated: kitchen, bathrooms, windows, slider door, front entry door, and oak staircase( My husband and I were the GC’s). We examined all products prrior to installation. I had the luxury of working from home and my husband was retired. We, and our excellent carpenter, were the quality control. We made sure all items installed were what we
ordered. Luckily our renovations went smoothly. Best of luck on your journey.

Generally good advice above. If they indeed made a mistake, I'd work with them on either replacing the glass, or get some sort of concession if you elect to keep it.

Mistakes happen so no need to go in with guns blazing (doesn't sound like you are), but they shoudl be willing to work with you to find a satisfactory solution.

Windows are a make-or-break item in any home .... don't settle. And I agree with those who say, "Go ahead and do it now". You've tried to like them, and you just don't.
