What a sumptuous rose! Does yours ball? That is the only negative comment I found about it - hope it does not, at least here in our dry climate.

Jackie . . . No. It doesn't ball. The petals have enough substance to prevent that . . . But they are very slow to open, when the weather is cool and damp.

I think it likes the excess moisture we've been having, from the point of view of growth and bloom production. HOWEVER . . . i have also discovered that it blackspots if it's wet enough here. (It's rarely that wet, here, but it is right now.)
