Today I dug up 7 valves that are 25 years old and were buried pretty bad, despite being in boxes. Most of them are either leaky or frozen, I am going to replace all of them. I've never done this before (though I have installed a few above ground valves in easier working spaces). The biggest question I have: should I even bother trying to retain this configuration and replace the valves only? I'm not even sure it's possible... most of the mates leave very little material to work with if I were to try to do that. I'm leaning toward just nuking the whole assembly (sawing off the mainline and all the laterals) and then rebuilding it with the 7 new valves. Thoughts?

Also open to any other general advice. Even though I'm inexperienced here, something tells me this layout is not the best one. Curious how I should consider redoing it.
