HD is notorious for cut and paste ratings, rather than the actual tet ratings of any particular tile. PEI is not going to be a relevant rating for a shower floor, unless it is a ), which means it isn't suited for anything but dry decorative areas that are never touched or scrubbed. You might as well be putting in paper walls..

The DCOF rating is the important rating for a shower floor. .42 or greater. Good luck in getting any real, actually ANSI legitimately tested, rating from most box store tile. Most of your domestic or Italian tile will actually test, but very little of the low cost Asian imports will.

I'll keep that in mind. My shower floor tile is good in terms of durability. Options and time are a bit limited, Big Box stores and Tile Shop. Honestly Tile Shop didn't have size/look I want. Maybe I will see if anyone has used the specific tiles I was considering or I'll just continue my search for other options.

Agree with DeWayne about the sometimes incorrect information provided by HD. Go to Jeffrey Court website, they'll likely have correct and complete information there. And it they don't, call or email them.

IMO check the makers website for info. You do not provide any info as to the actual tile so no way for us to help.

I thought that didn't matter as much as long as the waterproofing was good? They are rated 3-7% vs Daltile Restore which is more than 7% and I know that's a popular line for people.

I've seen some tile listed at less than 20% but still considered suitable for a shower. Depending what I read the answers/suggestions vary.
