We have a humidifier where the humidistat was installed directly in the line of the steam coming out of the humdifier. I think I can fix this myself if I can just find:

a smart humidistat (I don't need temperature control, but a thermostat is also fine if it will also control humidity) that:

1) can be connected to wireless support modules that also measure humidity and

2) where we can turn off any humidity sensing on the wired humidistat/thermostat

I have spent hours hunting around online and cannot find this. Either the support modules have to be hardwired to the humidistat (not possible if we place them in another room--this is an apartment high-rise where we can't mess with ceilings or floors), or the support modules don't measure humidity at all.

I am hoping someone here could help us find the product that we are looking for?
