I voted #2 because whatever you go with, I’d keep it low like that.

I disagree with everything in the above post. My light beside my TV doesn’t bother me at all — it’s a lamp on my console with a dimmer and I love the ambient lighting there. It doesn’t distract from watching TV whatsoever. I like your sconces, they keep the niche from being a dark hole in the room.

I do think the console looks nice with decor on it. I just wouldn’t go with anything tall or too cluttered.

And I definitely wouldn’t lower the TV.

Nothing goes on top of a TV console. You haven't shown us how this niche relates to the room but I would have selected a larger TV and a console with an ambiguous style

I would go with #2 from those 3 choices. Keep it as simple as possible.

There are TV areas that look like hospital waiting rooms, and TV areas that show a homeowner’s personality.

I know which I’d rather have.

That back wall would be a great place to add a dark accent color. Green, blue, rust, charcoal are some suggestions.
