I'm looking to replace my current single stage AC unit and several of the model units (Bryant, Day and Night) recommended by the local technicians have a prop 65 warning for lead. When I ask them where the lead is and if I should be concerned about exposure to lead, they don't know. I have reached out to the manufacturers with only the Bryant rep responding they didn't have that information and to talk to my local dealer. Should I be concerned about the prop 65 warning? Other manufactures such as Lennox and Amana don't have the prop 65 warning for lead on their website.
