tile layout question

Hi, redoing my master bathroom and had a question on tile layout. The tub will be set along the window in the left. I would like to do the shower tile in a horizontal pattern as the tile will also go in the wall surrounding the tub. Can I lay the floor tile vertically parallel to the tub? Will that look professional. Or do I need to lay the floor tile horizontally too? Please advise!!
