If you did not plant it and do not suspect that it was planted by a hosta collector, then it is probably something common like So Sweet, Queen Josephine, or Fortunei aureomarginata.

It kind of looks like So Sweet (my favorite hosta) when it first comes up. Then the edges turn to cream.

Give us a marker for size, like put a pen next to it or soda can—-anything we all know the size of.
That would help.
