It’s hard to get a sense of the room and built ins especially, so recommendations may not be suitable. I think a black MCM piece with some brass will complement your chairs and light fixture.

You may find the furniture looks cramped, lined up in the middle of room. Suggest trying your desk by the window (looking in or out, or across the right corner pulled into the room a bit.
