Tonight it rained lightly and the several sections of my driveway that were poured by a terrible concrete subcontractor seem to react to water differently from the concrete poured by the crew that replaced them. It's the same concrete from the same place. It's 2 months old, but even 1 month and 2yr old concrete around it all seem to be absorbing water much differently.

MY QUESTION - Is this a bad thing, beyond looking odd? The questionable concrete cured extremely slow as it was under snow for 3-4 weeks from a few weeks after it was poured.
