The cork flooring you have now is head and shoulders above any type of plastic floors. It's superb! The main culprit here in the room is the mustard paint, and beige trim. Prime over all of that ASAP while you are looking for a new color.

Haha I agree wholeheartedly with the comment on the paint. My first choice for starting the Reno would be to paint and replace countertops but unfortunately the cork flooring is showing quite a bit of wear and tear

Is the cork on the whole first floor? If you have wood in adjacent rooms the first thing recommended is to put down matching wood. Natural materials always make fake look worse if they are next to each other. If you are set on LVT, look for a slate look gray tile LVT (not wood plank look). The right shade of gray will look good with your cabinets.

Woods shouldn't match, they should compliment.

I have hardwood flooring adjacent to the current cork, the hardwood has an orange undertone, I’m thinking I’m needing something in the flooring with a warmer undertone to compliment the hardwood?
