2005 G6 shifting concerns

My '06 G6 has started what seems to be a hard shift but it doesn't do it all the time, just every once in awhile. When I park it and maybe even just a few moments later, start to drive again, it doesn't do this. Someone said if it was my transmission, it would do this all the time. Anyone give me any tips? Thanx!

Sorry sorry, I was just trying to be clever, and am admittedly a smartass. But I am far more knowledgeable about design than I am mechanics. I am a homosexual, after all.

Perhaps an easy fix: check the transmission fluid. Could be low and cause the symptoms you’re having.
