I've been doing a lot of research on this plant recently.

According to PlantNET, L.myrsinoides is not recorded north of Wollongong.

The best I have been able to come up with is L. trinervium, based on flower images, plant size, and blooming time (Oct).

I did discover, after I posted, that there is a Friends of Lane Cove NP website which lists 2 sp., L. trinervium and L. squarrosum, the latter flowering March to May. They also state that L. trinervium is one of the commonist sp found in the Sydney area.

When these pics were taken (Oct 2014) I had no idea that I would be returning to the UK within the year. So, as there is little or no chance of me popping down to double check, I will have to settle for L. trinervium (probably).
